To help in planning our horror movie trailer and what type of horror genre we should do, we needed to gather information about what people like and watch the most. So we decided to do this through questionnaires. We came up with 10 useful questions and set them up as a questionnaire on survey monkey and we also printed of 10 copies and went around college to gather more information. Once we'd gathered the results together, we found out that we collected 28 answers from males and 23 answers from females. Overall from the data we collected, it showed that 14 people said they liked horror films and 31 said that they would go and watch a psychological horror film. This particular piece of information helped us the most because its shows that we are not taking a risk basing our movie trailer on a psychological horror because a large percentage of the people we asked said they would go and see it. We also collected the ages of the people who answered out questionnaires to helped us with our target audience. We had 11 people who were 0-16 years old, 28 people were 17-24 years old and 5 people were 25+ years old.

Our participants were also asked which social networking site they used the most. They were givent he options facebook, twitter, tumblr, myspace, instagram, bebo, other. All of the people we asked said they used Facebook and the majortiy said they also use Twitter and Tumblr.
We also asked them how they found out about new and upcoming movies. They were given the options magazines/ newspapers, posters, adverts, online, other. The most used option was online and adverts. which means that this is something we really need to concider when it comes to our movie.
